A 1955 Talbot Press edition ( possibly a paperback original, although Talbot Press were particularly poxy to not note earlier editions or reprints on their titles) of Patrick Byrne's biography of Lord Edward Fitzgerald, one of the leaders of the United Irishmen in the 1790's, and who died following injury after resisting arrest in Thomas Street , Dublin in 1798.
Moderate to heavy spotting to the page block, rubbing to the spine, general dustdarkening. Text solid, binding tight, no inscriptions or underlining.
Cover shows a reproduction of a period print of the arrest of Fitzgerald.
